Continue Your Education At CGCC After Dual Enrollment

CGCC offers many opportunities to recent high school graduates that can help you continue on your academic path, from new student orientations to help you get to know the college, to scholarships that can pay for up to two full years of classes. Check out the links below to find out about all of the resources we offer at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

Honors Program – dual enrollment students are already prepared to function at a high academic level, and the Honors Program gives them an opportunity to continue striving for academic excellence. Honors students can become members of the Phi Theta Kappa honors society, attend exclusive honors events and activities, and apply for scholarships that can pay for up to two full years of tuition. Eligibility for the scholarship isn’t just determined by class ranking, but can also be awarded by achieving a high enough score on placement tests.

Campus Tours – Campus tours are offered by appointment only. For tours on the Pecos Campus please contact the Recruitment Office at recruitment@cgc.edu or 480-732-7385. To schedule a tour on the Williams Campus please contact Jasmine Mercado at jasmine.mercado@cgc.edu or 480-988-8174

New Student Orientation – All new-to-college, degree & transfer-seeking students are required to attend Coyote Kickoff (Initial Advisement/ New Student Orientation). This includes students who have earned college credit through ACE, Dual Enrollment, or Hoop of Learning programs and are now high school graduates.

Explore Careers – our Career Services are there to help you with all of your job-related needs. With their help, you can apply for internships, refine your resume, or connect your major to a career once you graduate.

Funding Your Education – if you need assistance paying for your classes, CGCC’s Financial Aid department is available to let you know about available options. They can help you apply for federal financial aid and grants, as well as let you know what kinds of scholarships may be available to you.

Academic Programs – CGCC offers a variety of majors and certificates to students. You can go for an Associate’s Degree in such fields as biology, English, and business, or even get a specialized degree from our Nursing or Aviation and Aeronautics programs. We also offer the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) certificate, which covers lower-division general education requirements for students planning on transferring to any public community college or university in Arizona. Even better, the AGEC certificate usually transfers as a block without any loss of credit!
