The Counseling program at Chandler-Gilbert Community College is provided for currently enrolled students to assist them with academic, personal, and career issues that may be interfering with their ability to be successful in college.
Common concerns for which students come to Counseling range from difficulty with adjustment to college, test anxiety, or stress management, to assistance identifying a major or career path, goal-setting, and getting connected with available resources on campus or in the community. We do not provide psychotherapy or psychological assessment services on campus, but can assist students in connecting to these resources in the community.
Students can schedule individual appointments with our highly trained Counseling faculty members; appointments are free, private, and scheduled for 45 minutes.
Scheduled appointments are not for urgent situations. In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1. For after-hours or weekends, the Crisis Response Network is available to consult 24/7 at 602.222.9444.

Students can also visit in person during normal business hours to schedule appointments; we are located in Bradshaw 101.
If you need to cancel or change a previously scheduled appointment, PLEASE CALL so that another student can be seen during that time. If you call after business hours, please leave a voicemail message with your name and the date/time of the appointment you need to cancel.
Scheduling a new appointment does not automatically cancel your previously scheduled appointment. After two missed appointments in the same semester without 24-hour notice, students will not be rescheduled.
