How To Enroll

How to enroll in the Electric Utility Technology (EUT) Program

While the EUT program is designed to help students enter into a specific trade area, it is one of the many CGCC academic programs. Therefore, all students are required to follow the admissions process.
1. Register as a student by going to the CGCC Student Admissions page and complete the following steps:
Step 1: Set up Your Student Center
Step 2: Apply for College Admission
Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid
Step 4: Activate Your Maricopa Email
Step 6: Sign up for Coyote Kickoff
Step 7: Pay Tuition and Fees and Obtain Textbooks
​2. After you register, complete these program forms and deliver or send copies to Chandler-Gilbert Community College, ATTN GIE Mailbox, 7360 Tahoe Street, Mesa, AZ 85212:
  • Student Intake form (completed during admissions in step 1)
  • Risk Assumption form (attached to this email)
  • Complete a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) physical, form more information go to the AZ Motor Vehicle Department
3. Currently in order to register for an EUT class, you will need to see an Adviser in STUDENT SERVICES at the CGCC Williams Campus to complete class enrollment.
Things to know about the EUT programs
  • All classroom tools and safety equipment will be provided to students.
  • Students will be required to attain a CDL license and CPR/First Aid certificate before being able to sign up for specified classes within the program.
  • Students will be trained how to use certain types of equipment such as a trenchers which requires a CDL license.
  • Students should be prepared to be in the physical condition needed to complete lab assignments that includes climbing 40 foot poles with 50 pounds of gear, digging holes and saw cuts.
