Homeland Security

The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Homeland Security is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct a homeland security evaluation, prepare and implement emergency response plans and to assess, investigate and respond to terrorism incidents.  Students will also obtain knowledge and skills in practices and functions of the criminal law, court procedures and modern policing that will prepare them for careers in local, state and federal Homeland Security agencies. It also provides criminal justice practitioners with opportunities for professional growth and the development of specialized skills in homeland security.
