Chandler-Gilbert Community College's Theatre Arts is a rich and welcoming community invested in artistic exploration, the collaborative creative processes, and appreciation of theatre in performance and its importance in community.
CGCC's Theatre department offers classes in Acting, Intro to Technical Theatre, Intro to Design Scenography, Directing, Playwriting, Musical Theatre Performance, and humanities courses Intro to Theatre and Modern Drama. The program offers six production opportunities on the main stage and in the studio black box and offer a myriad of student-initiated projects. throughout each semester. In addition to outstanding faculty, guest artists are invited in to expand teaching approaches and to give the community opportunities to interact with professionals in the field.
