Pre-Nursing Workshops

Students interested in the Maricopa Community College District's Nursing Program are encouraged to learn more about the program via these advising workshops. Click here to sign up for a workshop.
All workshops are hosted on the CGCC Williams Campus.
Ms. De La Torre also sees students in her office on Williams Campus, Student Services, BLUF 101-S on a walk-in basis.  Please refer to the Advisement hours.

RN-NCLEX Pass Rates

Chandler-Gilbert is one of eight Maricopa County Community College District (MCCD) colleges that offer an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing. Graduates of this nursing program are eligible to take the national licensing examination (NCLEX-RN), through the Arizona Board of Nursing, to become licensed registered nurses.

Admission Requirements

Potential applicants are urged to meet with the Advisors each semester.  Applicants must complete a Student Information Form and request that all official colleges/universities transcripts are sent to the Admissions Office. The following are required for admissions.  More information is available at MaricopaNursing.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • HESI Assessment (HESI A2): All applicants must score at a 80% or higher in the English language composite score and 75% or higher in math within 24 months of application.
  • Level One Fingerprint Clearance is required for admission into the program.
