Students must file a transcript request through CGCC Records. CGCC will not automatically send transcripts, nor will a university request them for the student. Transcripts sent directly from CGCC to another institution are considered OFFICIAL. The transcript will display all classes taken at any of the Maricopa Community Colleges. You do not need to request a transcript from each Maricopa College.
The cost of each official transcript is $5.00.
Four ways to request transcripts from CGCC:
- In person: Fill out the Transcript Request Form in the Admissions & Records office in the Coyote Center.
- By Fax: 480.732.7326
Complete and sign the Transcript Request Form. Upon faxing the completed form, the Student Financial Services will contact you for a payment of $5.00 fee, per transaction.
- By mail: Complete and sign the Transcript Request Form. Please include a $5.00 fee, per transaction, payment by check or Money Order. Please do not mail cash.

Official transcripts will not be issued to students having outstanding debts to any of the Maricopa Community Colleges. The release of transcripts is governed by the guidance of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Acts of 1974.
