Study in Prague: City of 100 Spires - Summer 2020

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic and the world. This magical city boasts one of the world’s most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Gothic to Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Art Nouveau, Cubist and Ultra-Modern. Some of the most well-known sights you will have the opportunity to visit include Old Town Square in Prague (a market square since the 11th century), Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Vyšehrad Castle ruins, Charles Bridge, the Jewish Quarter, and Wenceslas Square. While in Berlin, you will visit the Reichstag Building, the Jewish Museum, the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, and much more. You can also enjoy listening to the music of Mozart in one of the many concert halls around the city.

Included in the program, for all classes, is a three-night excursion to Berlin, Germany.  Please sign-up for an information session to get started.

"Studying abroad isn’t just a fun way to spend a semester; it is quickly becoming the key to success in our global economy. Because getting ahead in today’s workplaces isn’t just about getting good grades or test scores in school, which are important. It’s also about having real experience with the world beyond your borders -- experience with languages, cultures, and societies very different from your own. "Former First Lady Michelle Obama"

Study abroad can be a powerful education tool. Research shows these experiences continue to impact students' lives for years. Just as international students in the United States will someday be in positions of world leadership, so will U.S. domestic students. Maricopa College's study abroad programs prepare American students to be confident communicators with people from other cultures in other countries and continue to serve as goodwill ambassadors. "Overwhelming numbers of graduates who have studied abroad agree that the experience enhanced their interest in academic work, helped them acquire important career "skill sets", and continued for decades to influence their perspectives on world events’’
