  • Two rooms have been designated as Lactation Rooms, one on Pecos and one on Williams
  • Pecos – BRD 118, located in the middle of the south side of Bradshaw [participants are to check-in at the Public Safety desk]
  • Williams – BLUF 129, located in the central Bluford [map attached]
  • This room is for the use of employees and students based on scheduling.
  • Employees who need to schedule the room or who have questions on the program should contact HR Analyst, Lisa Kussard (x27042).
  • Students who need to schedule the room or who have questions on the program should contact Program Analyst, Yvette Strickling (x27310.)
  • Backups for the designated scheduler are listed in Appendix A.
  • An employee who would like to utilize the mother’s room, can either email lisa.kussard@cgc.edu or call x27042 to schedule a time.
  • The employee participant will be required to complete a form that outlines the program andparticipant responsibilities.
  • A mother’s room [google] calendar for both Pecos and Williams locations has been set up. Only the designated scheduler can schedule and/or adjust the times.
  • Employees will need to check in prior to room usage. Employees are required to check-in through Public Safety; Public Safety will have view only access to the calendar. Any changes to the schedule must be done through Daniel.
  • At Pecos – The mother’s room is BRD 118. Scheduled participants will check-in at the Public Safety Desk in the public safety building. When the employee is done using the room, they will push the lock in on the door and call/stop-by public safety to let them know they are done. [map attached]
  • At Williams – The mother’s room is BLUF 129. Scheduled participants will check-in at the Public Safety Desk in Bluford. When the employee is done using the room, they will push the lock on the door and call/stop-by public safety to let them know they are done.
  • Employees who need to “drop-in” will need to contact Lisa Kussard first to ensure that there is time available on the schedule. [map attached]
  • The Mother’s Rooms’ hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM during the school year and Monday through Thursday, 7AM to 6PM during the summer.
  • If an employee needs to use the room prior to or after business hours, they will need to coordinate with the designated scheduler who will coordinate with Public Safety.
  • When the employee no longer needs to participate in the program, they will need to inform Lisa Kussard via email so that he may close out their file.
  • Each room will be private, with blinds or covers on the windows for privacy. The rooms willhave a chair, a trash can, a small table and a phone.

  • The mother’s room is operational from Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM during the school year and Monday through Thursday, 7AM to 6PM during the summer. If you are requiring the use of the room prior to or after the designated hours, please coordinate with the respective scheduler.
  • Mother’s Room users are responsible for maintaining a clean room ready for the next user. If the room is not clean upon arrival, please contact the designated scheduler and let them know.
  • Program participants will complete the mother’s room form and turn it in to the designated scheduler to register for the program.
  • If an individual (employee/student) will be using the room for uses other than nursing, they must discuss with the scheduler and obtain approval beforehand.
  • Participants must check in through Public Safety.
