Before coming to Chandler-Gilbert Mike served as director of the Boys and Girls Club of Chandler. Mike earned his degree in Recreational Management from Arizona State University...Go Sun Devils!

KT has been at the college since 2003 and is an honored alumnus. She earned her bachelors degree in Recreational Management from Arizona State University and her Masters through Northern Arizona University. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling in her spare time.

Katherine "Katie" Haar has been part of the Maricopa Community College District since 1999, she joined the Chandler-Gilbert Community College team in 2015 as the Multicultural and Co-curricular program specialist. In her current role, as Service-Learning and Civic Engagement program Supervisor, Katie is responsible for working with faculty and community partners to provide experiential and educational opportunities that tie classroom learning with service in the community. Katie received her Bachelor's in Communication with a minor Sociology from ASU. In 2012 she completed her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from NAU. Katie resides in Chandler, Arizona and enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and her rescue furbaby Finley.

Kim graduated from Northern Arizona University- Go Jacks!- in 2010 with a degree in Physical Education and School Health. She spent two years as a P.E./Health teacher for 7th and 8th graders in Surprise, AZ. Prior to coming to Chandler-Gilbert, Kim worked for almost 3 years at Mesa Community College as a Program Advisor in Student Life and Leadership. Kim's favorite thing to do is spend time with her family enjoying adventures in the great outdoors!

Ashley graduated from Newberry College with a BA in Arts. In 2006, she and her husband moved from S.C. to Arizona. She loves running, flying trapeze, camping, triathlons, volunteering at their children’s school teaching art and is always excited to find new places and experiences to enjoy with her family. Ashley started at Mesa Community College Red Mountain Campus in Student Life and Leadership in 2014. In August 2019, she became a part of the CGCC family. Howl yeah! The Williams Campus has been full of exciting growth and she is excited to be a part of making things happen there.

Christina is a Chandler-Gilbert Alumni and has been working at Chandler-Gilbert since 2015-- Go Coyotes! She started out working part-time in the Service-Learning office and has now been full time for 4 years! While working, she is also continuing her education online with Northern Arizona University, pursuing a degree in Communications. She enjoys tacos, lots of coffee, free stuff--remember; "Freelicious is Delicious", and coordinating meaningful Service-Learning events/projects that impact our students, staff, and the community around us.

I hope to finish my prerequisites here at Chandler-Gilbert then transfer to NAU for my Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. I enjoy helping people better themselves and promote a great healthy smile. In my spare time I enjoy spending it with family & friends. Mainly those Saturday cookouts where everyone is together and having fun. Very excited to learn and be a part of the Service-Learning Department !

Taylor has been attending CGCC since the Spring of 2019 and is very happy to now be part of the Service Learning team. She is one who enjoys art and creativity, spending her time cooking, painting, drawing, and anything that can bring more beauty into the world. Taylor is a very busy student, double majoring in Astrophysics and Sustainability and plans on attending ASU once she completes the required credits. But, the most important part of her life is making her family and friends proud and keeping them happy.

Sarah is a proud Chandler-Gilbert Community College Alumni! She went on to continue her education at Arizona State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Human Development. Shorty after that, she obtained her Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University. She has been in the educational field for over 10 years. Sarah has taught middle school Language Arts and Science, 3rd grade; as well as, subbed and was the librarian for various grade levels. She has also worked in admissions and registration in higher education. Sarah has a deep love and appreciation for learning and education and is very excited to a part of the CGCC Service-Learning team! In her spare time, Sarah loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, eating, listening to music and going to concerts, reading, yoga, learning about natural medicine and herbology, and photography!
