Employment Opportunities

There are many exciting full-time and part-time employment opportunities at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) and within the Maricopa Community Colleges. The processes for learning about and applying for these jobs is different, depending on the type of position.
College offices and departments hire temporary part-time employees for a semester or longer, or for shorter durations to help with special projects.  The type of positions available varies greatly from maintenance help for special projects, to secretarial/clerical support in offices, to tutors.  When needs arise, these positions are posted on this website for a minimum of one week, sometimes longer depending on the position.  Check back regularly to see if there are positions you are interested in.
View all open Maricopa Community Colleges positions, including those at CGCC.
If you do not see a current opening listed in your field, and you are interested in teaching part-time for CGCC, please review the faculty minimum requirements at the MCCCD employment website and then submit your application to the adjunct pool here: https://hr.maricopa.edu/jobs/how-to-apply/adjunct-teaching-part-time
You will find the information you need to submit an online application specific to your field and you can apply at multiple colleges (please note that the categories are listed broadly).  When the need arises for part-time instructors in a given subject, the division chairs will access the adjunct pool and review the applicants who have indicated an interest and then will contact them for further discussion about the possibilities.
At the time of hire as an adjunct by MCCCD, a person who has taught one year full-time or a total of 30 semester credit hours at a regionally accredited community college is exempt from taking the EDU250 Overview of the Community College Course.
