During your stay in the United States, you must comply with these regulations, which are based on U.S. law and are enforced by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Violating these regulations — for example, by engaging in unauthorized employment, or failing to maintain a full-time credit load — could jeopardize your student status, and we wouldn’t want that to happen!

The U.S. government does not accept ignorance of its regulations as a justifiable reason for breaking them, so it’s in your best interest to know what they are.
