We also assist with campus safety needs such as door unlocks, battery jump-starts, lost and found, and other day to day safety and security support.
Public Safety
Focuses on campus safety, security, emergency response, access control, and helping students, employees, and visitors feel safe while on campus.
Supports safe and accessible campus parking through parking guidance, permit information, and coordination of parking-related safety concerns.
Provides assistance with lost and found items to help reconnect students, employees, and visitors with their belongings.
Supports campus access and security through door access, unlock assistance, and coordination of access related concerns.
Supports campus safety through security camera systems that help monitor campus spaces and assist with safety and security needs.
Environmental Safety
Focuses on identifying and reducing risks, preventing hazards, supporting a safe learning and working environment, and helping the college meet health, safety, and environmental requirements
Quickly access Safety Data Sheets (SDS) library for chemicals used on campus to support safe handling, emergency response, and regulatory compliance, CGCC Library
Promotes safe laboratory practices by providing guidance on chemical hazards, personal protective equipment, emergency procedures, and safe work practices in accordance with applicable OSHA standards and college safety requirements
