Paying it forward. Giving back.

Whether you received a great education that led to a successful career or watched a family member thrive as a student at Chandler-Gilbert, you know how much CGCC contributes to your community. Now you can help others find their success. Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a real difference in the lives of students. Your gift will help students achieve their life goals. It will support student scholarships, fund community education programs and even help feed students in need. Your money goes to the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which makes your gift tax-deductible.

Giving opportunities

A free food pantry created in partnership with Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Coyote Cupboard offers non-perishable food items and toiletries to any CGCC student or employee who needs them. Your donation will help stock the shelves with household staples such as peanut butter, jelly, rice, beans, cereal and macaroni, as well as essentials like bar soap, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

CGCC is actively engaged in helping disadvantaged high school students prepare for college. One program, Achieving a College Education (ACE), is a two-year scholarship designed to help first-generation, underrepresented, financially disadvantaged college-bound students succeed. Another high-school-to-college bridge program, Hoop of Learning, is designed to empower Native American students to complete high school and successfully transition to higher education.

The partnership supports middle school teachers and helps them advance their knowledge about teaching mathematics as well as developmental mathematics in community colleges. It provides a systemic model for sustainable professional development in partner schools to increase student achievement in middle school mathematics, allowing a more successful transition to more challenging high school courses.

CGCC fields NJCAA teams in men’s and women’s basketball, soccer and golf; baseball, softball and women’s volleyball. Our athletics program focuses on the physical, mental and academic development of student athletes. Participation in college sports teaches essential life skills that benefit students throughout their lives, including self-discipline, time management, teamwork, effort and determination. Your donations ensure these students get the equipment and support they need.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College is committed to removing the financial barriers to a college education. We offer a number of academic and need-based scholarships to students who want to get ahead. You can choose the specific scholarship fund you’d like to donate to, and you can dedicate your gift in honor of someone important to you.
