Paying for College: Financial Aid Options
No college fund? No problem! Financial aid is available to help fund your educational goals, even if your family can’t afford to pay up front. Support comes in the form of grants, loans, Federal Work-Study and scholarships. Financial aid can be used to help you pay your full cost of attendance, including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, as well as transportation to and from school.
Your eligibility for financial aid is dependent on your demonstrated financial need or, in the case of some scholarships, a special ability or talent. Because there are many factors that affect your eligibility for financial aid, it’s important that you apply each year, even if you think you won’t qualify. Financial aid is available for full-time as well as part-time students. To apply for financial aid, follow the steps to apply.
