CGCC is one of the three colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) to offer the Semiconductor Technician Quick Start program, Estrella Mountain Community College and Mesa Community College are offering the program as well. This in-person, 10-day certification course teaches participants the skills needed to join the fast-growing semiconductor industry—in less than two weeks.

But this isn’t the only training developed in partnership with major area employers. CGCC is on a mission to fill in the area’s workforce development gaps, connecting employers with students and customizing training services to meet their coming needs.
