Hey ballers!
Want to up your game with a summer skill session? We got you!
Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) is holding a Basketball Camp for boys and girls in third through eighth grade. The camp will be July 1–3, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the CGCC Coyote Gym at the Pecos Campus. Snack provided for kids at 10:00 a.m.
The camp will be coached by Steve Silsby, named ACCAC Coach of the Year this past season, and joined by additional members of the CGCC coaching staff, including CGCC Assistant Coach Zac Harrison. Current Coyote players will also be assisting with the camp.
Silsby and the Coyotes had a stellar season this past year. The team had 27 wins, which is a program record, and they finished the year as ACCAC Regular Season Champions. Silsby has coached the Coyotes for 10 seasons. “I'm very proud of the accomplishments of Coyotes, and as a coach, it’s important to see development of the players both on and off the court,” said Silsby. “I’m looking forward to working with kids in the area to help them improve their game as well.”
Camp check-in is at 8:00 a.m. at the Coyote Center on July 1, 2024. The cost is $150 per player. Register at https://cgcc-maricopa.nbsstore.net/cgcc-basketball-camp.
