Specialty Programs

Aircraft Maintenance Technology
Our Aircraft Maintenance Technology program offers a comprehensive education in aircraft structural manufacturing and maintenance, preparing you for a career in the general, corporate, commercial, or military sectors. You'll study fixed-wing and rotor aircraft, powerplant manufacturing, and UAS mission planning. After completion, you can apply for relevant FAA exams.

Artificial Intelligence
The AI program curriculum not only teaches AI, but also emphasizes other applications of AI such as robotics, automation, big data analytics, and cybersecurity. It also trains students to be proficient in cloud computing, data visualization, and data mining, enabling them to extract insights from large datasets and solve real-world problems using machine learning algorithms.

Aviation
Our Aviation program offers FAA exam preparation. The AAS in Airway Science Technology, Flight Emphasis program includes certifications for single/multi-engine and flight instructor. The AAS in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program prepares for UAS industry roles with mission planning, maintenance, laws, data analytics, and project management content.

Cyber Security
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Cybersecurity is designed to focus on the skills required to secure, protect and identify vulnerabilities in a network, including various systems and network devices. Emphasis is placed on developing the theoretical, legal, ethical and practical skills needed to maintain security on mission-critical networking and server systems. The program is designed to meet the training needs of government and industry employees.

Engineering
In educating the next generation of engineers, this program teaches the engineering essentials of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) — the cornerstones of a good engineer. Students will also develop strong analytic and critical thinking skills that will not only aid them in identifying, assessing, and solving complex problems but will be vital in handling conversations and interacting with colleagues on all levels in an organization.

Law Enforcement Training Academy
The LETA program is a comprehensive education in the study of the criminal justice process, including law enforcement, courts, probation, parole, security, and criminology. You will also learn community policing, evidence technology, how principles of criminal justice laws have evolved, and much more. The program is certified by Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training (AZ POST) and staff are officers currently working for agencies in the East Valley.

Mortuary Science
A career working in a funeral home or crematory requires a unique combination of interpersonal skills, intellect, and business acumen. The Mortuary Science program teaches these skills and prepares you for a career in the funeral industry. Upon completion, you will be prepared to sit for the National Board examination and apply for an intern license with the Arizona State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.

Nursing
Our Nursing program, approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, will prepare you with the fundamental skills necessary to be successful as a nurse assistant, licensed practical nurse (LPN), or as a registered nurse (RN) in a variety of acute, long-term, and community-based healthcare settings. Once complete, you will be eligible to apply for your Arizona nursing license.

Composites Technician Bootcamp
The Composites Technician Bootcamp will prepare you for an in-demand career in aerospace, automotive, computing, and other tech fields. During the two-week camp, you learn the basics of composite materials, construction, and repair. You’ll also become proficient in manufacturing methods and equipment, assessment, and repair of composite structures using a variety of methods. The bootcamps are limited to 15 students.

Semiconductor Technician Quick Start Program
Semiconductors make almost every piece of technology that we use possible. They're an essential component of our electronic devices and many of them are made right here in Arizona. We've partnered with major employers like Intel to develop our accelerated Semiconductor Technician Quick Start program where you can learn the skills you need to join this fast-growing industry in just two weeks.

Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Program
Upon successful completion of this program, you will be prepared for the fire academy, as well as for EMT jobs with ambulance service companies, first responder agencies, fire departments, and hospitals. You will be eligible to sit for the EMT national certification examination and the Arizona certification examination for Hazardous Materials First Responder Operation, which meets the requirements of the Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence.
