Congratulations, Graduates!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our annual Graduation celebrations in Spring 2026. Please join us on May 15, 2026 at the CGCC Pecos campus, we will be honoring the accomplishments of those graduating during Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

We will host three ceremonies on May 15th that are specific to a student’s field of interest.

Steps to Graduate

To participate in the ceremony and graduate successfully, it is important to keep in mind that there are two crucial steps that must be completed. Step 1 - Apply to Graduate and Step 2 - RSVP to Commencement Ceremony

STEP 1 - Apply to Graduate

Apply to Graduate
This is the crucial step that determines whether you have fulfilled all of the academic requirements for your degree/program.

*Reminder: this is what enables you to get your diploma

Students do not need approval to graduate before submitting their RSVP for the graduation ceremony. At CGCC, final grades and transcript evaluations occur after the ceremony. Students should apply to graduate, RSVP when they receive the email invitation in April, and then watch for official notification of their graduation status via their Maricopa Student Email within 8–10 weeks after the semester ends. Submitting an RSVP will not affect the review of graduation eligibility.

The Summer 2026 Graduation Application is available from May 4, 2026, to July 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

The RSVP for our graduation ceremonies is now closed. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

Those that graduated in Summer/Fall 2025 or applied to graduate by the April 3, 2026 deadline will receive an email from [email protected] the week of April 6, 2026 to RSVP for the graduation ceremony, the RSVP closes April 22, 2026.

Order Regalia

Participation in the ceremony requires a black cap and gown. The target date for shipping through our regalia partner has passed. Ordering is simple through Amazon or similar retailers. Learn more about graduation attire on the FAQ page. CGCC provides the tassel.
