About Dr. Heather Weber
Dr. Heather Weber is a higher education executive with more than 24 years of progressive leadership experience in financial strategy, administrative operations, facilities, technology, human resources, safety, compliance, and institutional planning. She currently serves as Vice President of Administrative Services and Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, where she provides executive leadership for an $80 million general operating budget and a $13 million capital budget and oversees the college’s administrative and operational functions.
Previously, Dr. Weber served as Vice President of Administrative Services at Estrella Mountain Community College, where she led college-wide financial and operational strategy and provided executive leadership for a $31 million campus expansion. Earlier in her career, she served as Dean of Instruction, leading workforce development, transfer, STEM, nursing, and technical programs and overseeing significant grant, facilities, and industry partnership initiatives.
Dr. Weber brings extensive expertise in institutional compliance, accreditation, strategic planning, and workforce development, with experience involving federal and state regulatory agencies and higher education accreditation. She has served as a Peer Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission since 2019 and currently serves as an HLC Team Chair.
Dr. Weber holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Her research has focused on classroom design and student engagement in postsecondary education.
