Steps, instructions and shortcuts for commonly used programs

As a CGCC student, you have access to a variety of technical resources, including creative and business software, student email, and Canvas, our online class platform. We’ve gathered a collection of Quick Reference Guides here to help you with common questions and tasks.


Take a look at this list of tips and procedures, and if you don’t find what you’re looking for, contact our Virtual Tech Team, or call or stop by one of our campus Computer Labs.


 

Android

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right of the taskbar.
  2. Click on the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi and connect. It does not require a password as it is a guest Wi-Fi.
  3. Open up a web browser and the policy page should appear and you just need to click on “Continue to the Internet” to have network access.

IOS

  1. Go to the settings app.
  2. Select Wi-Fi on the left.
  3. Choose the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi to connect.
  4. You will be redirected to a user policy page and will need to accept by clicking on “Continue to the Internet”

Mac

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon on the menu bar in the top left.
  2. Click on the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi to connect.
  3. After connecting, you will see a pop up about the user policy. Click on “Continue to Internet”.

Windows

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right of the taskbar.
