Before You Start
Please have these documents ready and tasks completed:
- Review the courses offered at your high school and the class prerequisites.
- Take note of the following: Term, Subject Area, Catalog Number, Class Number
(Example: Fall 2026, ENG, 101, 12345) - Some courses require one or more placement documents/assessments such as:
- Unofficial High School Transcript (11th & 12th grade only)
- SAT, ACT, or official AP score
Returning Student Dual Enrollment Steps
Before completing your forms, find the course info for your school class by going to cgc.edu/dual-classes and completing these following steps:
- Choose the High School offering your class
- Select "Dual Enrollment Courses"
- Check and prerequisites
- Write down: Term, subject area, catalog number, and class number
Example: My High School, Spring 26, ENG 101, 12345
You may need:
- Unofficial high school transcript (for 11th and 12th graders only)
- SAT, ACT, or official AP score report
- EdReady or Accuplacer placement result
Have your documentation ready, if applicable, before starting the Dual Enrollment Class Form
- Sign in with your Maricopa email and password at maricopa.edu/student-center
- Select My Student Forms, then High School and Under 18 Forms.
- Select and complete the Dual Enrollment Class Form - Video Guide
- UPLOAD High School Transcripts, SAT/ACT/AP Scores.
- COMPLETE placement EdReady (if applicable)
- Review the high school college course list to determine if classes have prerequisites.
NOTE: Students who meet prerequisites can verify classes in their Student Center. For classes requiring a manual process, processing may take up to 10 days.
