Facility Rental Rates, Fees, and Usage Guidelines

Facility Rental Rates, Fees, and Usage Guidelines Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) charges fair-market rates for the use of its facilities, as required by law. Commercial organizations and members of the general public are charged standard rental rates. Eligible non-profit organizations may qualify for discounted facility rates; however, discounts do not apply to equipment, staffing, catering, or other required services. 

Non-Profit Discount Eligibility 

Qualifying non-profit organizations may receive a 50% discount on facility rental rates. To be eligible, organizations must provide a current 501(c)(3) determination letter issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The non-profit discount applies only to facility rental fees and does not apply to equipment, staffing, catering, or other required services. 

Minimum Rental Requirement 

All facility rentals are subject to a four-hour minimum rental period. Rental time includes event hours as well as any required set-up and clean-up time. 

After-Hours and Weekend Use 

After-hours use is defined as any facility usage scheduled after 5:00 PM, as well as all weekend and holiday use. Events held during these times are subject to a 25% increase above the standard rental rate. 

Catering 

Chandler-Gilbert Community College provides on-site catering through Sodexo for events held on campus. 

  • Sodexo maintains the first right of refusal for all catering services. 
  • Any outside caterer must receive written approval through Sodexo prior to the event. 
  • Approval documentation for outside catering must be provided to the CGCC Rentals Team as part of the rental process.
