Applying for financial aid? The dates below help you understand when financial aid is processed and when funds may be available. Missing deadlines may delay your aid and could require you to pay tuition and fees out of pocket.
All To Do List items related to your financial aid eligibility must be submitted by your last day of attendance for the academic year.
Verification documents must be received and processed before the federal deadline published in the Federal Register.

The Maricopa Student Refund Program (MSRP) issues these funds, and you will receive them no earlier than five (5) days prior to the start of your earliest class at the college where you are receiving your financial aid. | ||

| Pell Recalculation Date Your Pell Grant is based on the number of credits you are enrolled in as of 5:00 PM on the Pell Recalculation Date. | Start of Financial Aid Disbursement Date Earliest date financial aid may begin applying to tuition and fees for the semester. If your financial aid exceeds your tuition and fees, you may receive a refund after this date. Learn more about the Maricopa Student Refund Program and how refunds are issued. Note: Financial aid can only disburse for classes that have already started. Students enrolled in late-start or modular classes may receive part of their financial aid later in the semester. |

| 30-Day Delay Disbursements First-time federal student loan borrowers must wait 30 days after the start of their earliest class before loan funds can be disbursed. Note: Students in late-start classes will receive loan funds 30 days after the actual start date of their class. |

| Start of Midpoint Financial Aid Disbursements For single-term loans, financial aid is generally disbursed in two installments: half at the start of the semester and half around the midpoint of the term.
