We’re happy to welcome you to Chandler-Gilbert, and we want to help you remain in good legal standing while you’re here. That’s why it’s so important to know the immigration regulations concerning international students.


During your stay in the United States, you must comply with these regulations, which are based on U.S. law and are enforced by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Violating these regulations — for example, by engaging in unauthorized employment, or failing to maintain a full-time credit load — could jeopardize your student status, and we wouldn’t want that to happen!

The U.S. government does not accept ignorance of its regulations as a justifiable reason for breaking them, so it’s in your best interest to know what they are. Violation of immigration requirements can result in serious consequences, up to and including removal or deportation from the U.S. So please read carefully the immigration regulations information we’ve provided at the links below:
